Cut 50% or more off your summer electric bill by using less or no A/C. You can still keep cool. Use ceiling or room fans. Keep blinds down when the sun is out, and doors & windows shut to the hot air. Don't run the A/C or fans if you're not home.
Also, using A/C increases outdoor temps - in your neighborhood, and via climate change from carbon emissions from extra energy to run the A/C. So using A/C creates the need for more A/C.
